This is one of my most recent site designs, Interiors by Trinity. Trinity is the wife of one of my best friends, she came to me looking for help building her website after shopping around and finding out how expensive web development can be. Be sure to stop by and show her some love even if you do not need her services, you could drop a like on her page!

I finally got some free time to make a new free template for FreeWebsiteTemplat.es, the name of the template is Winterized. The template is pretty basic, it has 3 columns, a large image at the top, and comes in 4 color variations ( blue, green, brown, and grey). As with all of our free stuff it is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License. Anyways enjoy the freebie and if you like it be sure to share on twitter, or like us on facebook! After years of owning this vanity domain ( since august 2003 ), I finally decided to put it to use. Why? I figured why not use it to showcase all of the things I currently do and have done, give out a few tips and pointers, and generally rant about things whenever I feel like it. These days ribbons are all the craze. They are pretty easy to create if you are handy with Photoshop. To help those of you that aren’t as Photoshop literate, I am giving away this free ribbons psd file. The zip file includes one psd that contains two different vector ribbons, with all layers intact. This will allow you to change the patterns, colors, highlights, and shadows to fit into whatever you plan to use it on. One ribbon is a curvy style, and the other one is straight. You may use these files for whatever you like, personal, commercial, etc… If you want to link back to me great, but it is not required. If [...]

This is originally a code snippet I wrote for one of my other websites, http://free-php.net, but I figured why not repeat it here also. Many of the themes out there use custom fields to display images in random parts of themes. This is simple in theory, but what happens when you want to switch to another theme? You guessed it, your images disappear. So you are either forced to update the theme to support the previous themes custom fields, or re add all of the images and set them as a featured image. The better way to do this is to add the images as the featured image within the post. With the code below [...]
